6 prohibited things while performing Hajj:
- Shaving the hair of the head: It is prohibited to shave your head or any hair on the body. In addition, you cannot trim or cut any nails.
- Using perfume after entering Ihram: You cannot spray perfume on your or any one’s clothes. You also cannot use it while washing.
- Sexual intercourse: As Allah says whoever intends to perform Hajj, they should not have sexual intercourse, nor commit any sin, and nor dispute unjustly at the time of Hajj.
- For men: A prohibition to wear shirts, trousers, turbans and leather slippers: As the Prophet was asked about what Muhrim should wear. He answered he should not wear shirts, trousers, turbans and leather slippers or hooded robe while performing Hajj.
- Touching one’s wife with desire: It is not permissible to touch anyone or his wife with desire.
- For women: Covers the face and leaves the eyes uncovered: It is essential to a veil that covers the face and leaves the eyes uncovered. The same prohibition applies to the Burqa when a woman enters ihram, she should not wear a Burqa or Niqab.
